This competition is open to anyone living in Scotland aged 18 and over excluding employees and the immediate families of the Scottish Government staff or anyone professionally connected with this draw.
Only one entry per person. No third party or bulk entries.
The prize-winner will win a holiday voucher up to the value of £500 to spend on a green weekend break in Scotland.
No cash alternative to prize will be offered.
The competition runs from 10 January 2009. The closing date for the receipt of all entries is 9 January 2010.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason.
The winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision, from all subscribers as at the draw closing date of midnight 9 January 2010, and notified by email or telephone within 28 days of the closing date. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Scottish Government reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.

This information is also stored on back-up tapes to avoid loss of data.
Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. Civic (the technology provider for the website) puts together log file information from all our visitors, which we use to inform changes to the layout of the site and to the information on it, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information.
