Sign-up to Go Greener and enter to win a year’s free car insurance from The Green Insurance Company

What do you mean you need to drive to work?

Oh alright, it’s understandable that not everyone can use public transport all of the time, but if you have to drive why not do so with as little impact on my health as possible?

I’ve come across an interesting compromise from my friends at The Green Insurance Company, one of the UK’s leading environmentally conscious insurance companies.

Offsetting carbon emissions

They have developed a car insurance product that offsets 100% of your car’s carbon emissions, at no extra cost. By working with a variety of UK tree planting projects, they’ve planted over 300,000 trees so far, with another 120,000 trees planned for 2010. Ingenious!

In addition to offering one lucky winner a year’s free car insurance (Up to the value of £600) from The Green Insurance Company, they have also supplied three ‘Greener Motoring kit’ runner-up prizes, which include a year’s breakdown cover. Once again, the emissions of any recovery vehicles are offset.

But please remember to drive less and leave the car when you can.

Special discounts

The Green Insurance Company are also pleased to offer ‘Go Greener’ subscribers special discounts on Car Insurance and Breakdown Cover, with combined savings of up to £30.
